Musical improvisation in Val d'Allos
Sharing the stage with five jazz musicians who would improvise on my multi-sensory collections: this was the proposal for artistic experimentation that was proposed to me last December.
Curious as I am, I could only say yes!
In January, I set off for the mountains of Val d'Allos, a ski resort located in the Haut Verdon (French Alps), to take part in the first edition of Hivernotes.
In this postcard setting, I presented during a conference at La Foux d'Allos my artistic journey combining photography and perfumery, as well as the multi-sensory collections Underworld, Impermanence, Meandering Soul and Memory Lane, which were enriched, for the space of an evening, by a musical version composed in pure improvisation by the trumpeter Geoffroy Tamisier, the accordionist Didier Ithursarry, the saxophonist Guillaume Saint-James, the bassist Jérôme Séguin and the guitarist Laurent Jaulin.
