ABOUT THE INSPIRATION
The fragrance SLOW LIFE is inspired by photographs I took in Okubo, an isolated hamlet in the Japanese Alps where I stayed a month in a traditional house converted into artists' residence. After months of frenzy, I was catapulted overnight in a slowness that made me lose ground under my feet.

Back in France, I translated into scent the loss of bearings in a green environment from which I learned the language.

The fragrance invites to get away from haste and to tune in to the surroundings.

Slow life, a marvel!

Slow life or the story of an attraction, of intense emotions to the point of having chills. This perfume has a unique effect on me! I discovered it in 2024 at the Artémisia organic fair. This year I find it again at Artemisia, and once again it transports me... I have never felt such emotions with another perfume! I feel so good when I wear it! Thank you Christèle Jacquemin for your wonderful creations!

A return to oneself

I discovered Christèle and her creative work at a craft market in Grignan. I am very sensitive to smells and being a naturopath, I am very careful about the products I use. I fell in love with SLOW LiFE. Maybe it's my distant Vietnamese origins that made me never understand why people were so excited. Why go so fast. When I apply this perfume to my skin, it's like a balm that warms my heart, comforts me and brings me back to myself and what I want to give, to transmit. Thank you for this beautiful creation. Anne

Lovely scent that captures the essence of outdoors

My wife and I had your previous scents, and so I was keen to try the new ones. This is the first of the three, and I'm not disappointed at all. The opening is a very fresh green outdoor scent, and a very natural one as well, I was curious how the sesame would come into play. I can detect it but it's a very harmonious one. That gives way to jasmine, and while as a guy florals don't always work for me, I've always enjoyed jasmine. This is not an overpowering scent and certainly one I could safely wear to the office.

Smells divine

I met Christèle at the Grande Motte Designers market, right across from my stand… And what a great discovery! Each perfume is unique and unlike anything else I know. The one that stole my heart is Slow Life, one of a kind. I have always been looking for a perfume that would remind me of the scent of jasmine in the spring that filled my doorstep as a child, every year. I have tested loads of them, and sometimes, exceptionally, I have found good ones… and this one excels. It feels like it; a jasmine, but with a less sweet side than “usual”, greener, very floral at the same time, like on the real tree. Bravo
