In my last trip to New York I was lucky enough to see the Picasso Black & White exhibition showing in the Guggenheim Modern Art Museum.

The curated selection of black and white only artworks deeply touched me. It seems that the narrow tonal palette intensified even more the feelings that these masterpieces had on me.

The virtuous play with lights and shades gives to the ironing activity of this woman an eternal vitality which is somehow very similar to what I like in the sinuous Art Nouveau style.

This is precisely this energy that I intend to capture in the architectural elements I discover visit after visit in the La Belle Epoque places I am invited to.
